Acting 101

This class is designed to help actors with the foundational elements of acting. By choosing and preparing two contrasting contemporary pieces , you'll have a unique opportunity to develop a range of material that showcases your talent and style.We'll practice techniques for memorization, pacing, and emotional connection, as well as how to use physicality and vocal inflections to enhance your performance. With the guidance of an experienced instructor, you'll learn how to craft and rehearse monologues that are active, interesting, and engaging, leaving you feeling confident and prepared for your next audition.

Acting 201

 

In this course, we'll delve deeper into the craft of acting, focusing on techniques for creating authentic, nuanced performances. We'll explore exercises and scenes to develop your skills in character analysis, emotional connection, and physicality. By the end of the course, you'll have a stronger understanding of how to bring depth and complexity to your characters, and be better equipped to tackle a wide range of roles and scripts.​
