Our History

Founded in 2009 by Dr. Rosette Jarriett-Rodrigue, Magnified Gift Theater Company is a nationwide leader in the presentation of new and collaborative works. Jarriett, who holds a B.A from Columbia College Chicago, an M.F.A from Regent University, and D.M. in Management, has written, published, and produced several theatrical productions in Chicago. She has performed in many theatrical works, films, dance, and commercials. Her vision of an ideal theater comprises one that would combine professional training for the youth with the highest possible performance standard and stories that will cultivate audiences. Under Dr. Jarriett's visionary leadership, Magnified Gift Theater Company has established itself as a beacon of excellence in the performing arts. Our mission is to provide a platform for emerging artists to showcase their talents, while fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and community engagement. By presenting new and collaborative works, we aim to inspire, educate, and entertain diverse audiences, while promoting cross-cultural understanding and social cohesion. With a focus on nurturing the next generation of theater professionals, we offer specialized training programs, workshops, and mentorship opportunities that empower young artists to reach their full potential.
